Huawei Mate 20

Eventually got my Phone replaced, they SMSd me and said come replace, 1 hour to transfer imei and done, got the new phone along with a Huawei powerbank. BOE screen.

Quite cool that you just give back the phone and the box (keep all accessories) and they give you a full sealed set, so now I got double charger, headphones etc. :D score.
 
Have any of you use the slow motion (960fps) on this phone?
Maybe post an example?

I would feel comfortable with this one, but wondering if I should order it now or wait till they actually are available in SA, that R399 shipping is a bitch

Plenty of review examples on youtube, but not nearly as good as Samsung or Iphone. I tried making one the other day, not impressed at all.
So crap wifi and crap slomo, and crap glass, only issues I have with it so far, and I have my first scratch on my screen after 3 days lol

You are literally the only person on MyBB that has these issues with the phone, wondering if the problem is not with you :p

Haha, wifi reception is not as good as my old S7, and then the issue with 802.1x on a /23 prefix network (does not work), apparently I have to wait for an update, their solution of assigning static IP did not work, reformat did not work either
Using static IP at home works now after format but there I do have a /24

I just expect a device that costs this much to at least have decent gorilla glass, slomo could perhaps be fixed with a software update

Just take a video of a drone while it's blades are spinning and you will see the AI flip out completely on the spinning blades

I have found that the WiFi is extremely good, even better than my S7e (also moved over from sammy)
We have an 802.1x /23 at the office with a LOT of interference, still pushing 70+Mbit on a speedtest.

Also, glass is glass, and it will scratch with sand or dust, don't expect it never to scratch.

Mine scratched in my pocket, probably car keys caused it
You are lucky that your wifi works, wonder why they told me I have to wait for an update. Perhaps I need to exchange it for another device
