Why don't they take credit cards? Anyway I guess it's best to wait for the accessories to arrive and order once.

Take note Zeek are selling the US model, which is why I'm asking about compatibility with LTE networks here.

Orange are selling the international version.

Hmm, does this mean we're either getting a good price from Orange or getting overcharged by Zeek?

Its a good price from Orange, not so much from Zeek.
But both will work in SA.

I emailed them both and asked.

Orange are sourcing their stock from somewhere in Europe, and it comes with a Euro style plug, which means we won't need a converter. Everything I've previously bought from Orange came with a UK plug + a UK to SA converter.

Who would actually buy from Orange? Had a look at the Hello Peter threads, too many complaints...
Any ideas? Would it be better to go to the physical Orange shop?

I've ordered a few things from them, mostly it's been problem free. The only issue I had was with my Moto 360, they took over a month to get stock from when they started taking pre-orders, and they could give no reliable information as to when they were getting the stock. Other than that, it was all free.

You just have to be aware, they don't really have a local presence, so repairs are going to be looooonnnnggg, should any warranty claims be made.

Orange is kind of hit and miss...

The one phone I ordered came really fast and was awesome....the cover for the phone was another story but Orange was still kind of new back then.
The second phone I ordered from them was ok, the cover for the phone took about a month though. I eventualy lodged a formal complaint and their response was to give me a R50 voucher code....really

Anyone know what the estimated shipping costs/customs costs will be involved in importing a International version?
Since Zeek is not Unlocked or Intl. and Orange has poor delivery and after sales service.

It is unlocked... It's just not the international version and therefore might not have the bands you need

Does this mean that buying the US version, you will not be able to make use of LTE in SA?
If my understanding is correct, you won't be able to use it on Cell C and Telkom

Vodacom and MTN should be fine.
