Same with me. I moved from a Nexus 5 to a Nexus 6 and got used to the big screen very quickly. When I sold my Nexus 5 a few days later, I used it for a a minute to hard reset it and thought that it was ridiculously tiny. This means that my next phone will also have to be in the 6" range. No going back now...

Vodacom will not stock nor sell the phone. Neither Google nor Huawei will be releasing the device officially in SA.

You need to look at the importers of this device, and there is only one who offers it on contract, but they are crazy with their prices.

Cellucity is offering the device on Vodacom contracts
 
Asked Cellucity for prices: uChoose Flexi 350 is R679 pm

They are bringing out the Nexus 6p in 64GB white variant and they hinted on a free gift.

Stock is expected at the end of the month or the first week in Feb
 
So I got contacted by CellUCity and they said that the stock will be delivered in 14 days in Cape Town.

They have upgraded the model from a 64GB to 128GB and it will come in Black with no additional charge and there will be a added bonus of a bluetooth speaker.
 
Mention a cash price? I just got an SMS to say their supplier had let them down

Yup. Like I have said, the exchange rate does not favor them at all. Plus they sound like a bunch of clowns run their procurement.
 
Here is the full emal I was sent.

I can finally confirm that our stock of the Nexus 6P will arrive within the next 13 working days in Cape Town.

All clients will be upgraded to the 128GB version at no additional cost. The device will only be available in black.

In addition to the above, all clients will receive a complimentary bluetooth speaker valued at R399.

Despite the weakening of the rand and the increase in device pricing, we have maintained the deal pricing from R599pm.

We will contact you as soon as the devices arrive.

Glad I got my 64 frost white from orange when it was 10 280 :D
