Huawei P10 Lite

Hey guys, is there anyone who has received the oreo update on the MTN variant of the p10 lite?

I have received it like a month or so ago, one thing that's not working great anymore, is the bluetooth, I can't connect to Sync in my Fiesta anymore unless I restart the phone every time before I drive.

I connect to a headset (or earphone?) to answer calls and also sent something via bluetooth with no problems. I switch the headset on and off throughout the day without reconnection issues. Must be something with the car's bluetooth.

I have no issues connecting to my Parrot car kit after updating. Have you tried removing the Bluetooth profile from Sync, then reconnecting your device? If that doesn't work, then maybe try resetting your network settings (Settings > System > Reset > Network settings reset) as well.
 
Anyone having problems with background apps that stop running. I did allow 'Ignore battery optimisation'. Before the update, I had no problem.

Example: Tasker, Dynamic Rotation Control and Twilight Pro. All have the necessary permissions they require, like accessibility etc, but ignore or deactivate it.

Texpand Pro and ACR Pro (a call recorder) works flawlessly.
 
Apparently the firmware has bugs, maybe the July patch will fix them, some of us are still waiting for the update.
 
I just got the update with the July patch, on Vodacom (C02B365).

I hope they release a bug fix release and not release and run like in the past. They are after all providing better support nowadays since opening Customer Service branches locally. Wink wink [MENTION=480285]Huawei[/MENTION]

I ordered this phone on Telkom about a week ago, expecting delivery soon. Seems as if most here is happy with this.

Excellent phone.

P8 lite was ok, P8 lite 2017 suck (storage runs out to fast for some reason and other issues), but the last 2 versions 10 and 20 lite are awesome.

I will report back as soon as I receive it. Haven't had a new phone in a long time.
