I think there is no great innovation, its just a continuation of the Mate 20 but the camera is really good and if the prices are true, then I believe it will do very well in the market

So using this app:

I was able to record a call on my Mate 20 Pro, BUT one has to Select the Audio Source as MIC and put the phone on Loudspeaker, you cannot have VOICE_CALL as Audio Source, it will stop it from Recording immediately.

You just need to fiddle with the settings a bit.

It can still be enabled by the manufacturer. So it depends. I can confirm that it works on the Psmart 2019 running Pie with this app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.appstar.callrecorder

Now if I only knew of someone with a P30 Pro, that could do a quick test for us

Like mentioned before, I use it on the Huawei Psmart 2019 running Pie and it works. Maybe someone can test it for us with the P30.

I use it all the time. The only issue that I have had is that while on Bluetooth, it only records my voice.

I use that one on my Mate 20 Pro and works fine, suspect it's somehow recording the speaker output but no need to put phone on speakerphone or use earphones

Calls only get recorded through the speaker. Sound is faint. Will root.

Played with the P30 Pro at Vodacom Menlyn last night while getting my Samsung S10.

It really feels premium to of the range. I find it interesting that the P30 Pro is priced the same as the Samsung S10. So where does this leave the S10+?

Anyways great looking phone but I've always liked my Samsung devices and the S10 is just perfection.
