Huge Afrihost ADSL data bonus

As an uncapped user, I'm feeling left out.

I definitely don't think that's the case. We always try to offer the best value for all clients. We are putting a huge amount of resources into providing the best experience for Uncapped users. Even if it feels like its not made clear during promotions, there is a huge amount of work (and love) that goes into Uncapped behind the scenes.

Anything in the pipeline for mobile data ?

With Afrihost Plus+ you can still double your data and benefit from rollover on topups. That being said, we're always thinking of ways to change the game, so keep watching this space. :)

BTW how do I get LTE ? MTN map says I have coverage, but my Afrihost sim does not pick up LTE in any of my LTE modems.

I wanted 100GB for R99, and my wish was granted.

Thank you Afrihost

LTE has to be activated manually by us. Drop me a PM with your details and I'll sort you out. :)

Sigh, who needs uncapped? This makes it redundant IMO. Uncapped for a 20mb line is R597pm. You can get 1TB for less than that and who actually uses 1TB a month? Just go capped, BRANDON69

Hey AfriFella all this is great news some of the people say they have alot data allocated now is their a possibility Afrihost would look at offering cheap uncapped unshaped unthrotled data at prices like for example 2mb R50 4mb R100 and 10mb R200. I mean capped data is good but dont you think it would be better to offer straight foward cheap uncapped unshaped unthrotled data if we want to compete with the rest of world where true uncapped data is the norm and at affordable prices.

Hey Brandon, thank you for your comment. :) We certainly have not forgotten about Uncapped. We put a huge amount of resources and a lot of effort into providing the best experience for our Uncapped clients. At this moment in time, dropping the the pricing of Uncapped DSL packages will inevitably have a knock on effect on the measures that have to be taken managing these packages (shaping/throttling/contention). Of course we do not want to do this, as we pride ourselves on offering some of the most competitive Uncapped DSL policies in the country. :)

That being said, with zero rated after-hours data, month-to-month rollover and this new double data promotion, have you considered moving over to Capped?

I'm still burning my data from last month. But I have a need to back up the internet before the Vuma gets their blue light burning solidly

Hope you have enough hard drive space! :p

Ditto... Surely with these deals, would people really need an uncapped account? Im keen to know how much data an uncapped user goes through each month.

If one takes in that midnight data starts 30 mins earlier than the other isp's and ends 1 hour and 30 mins later than the rest, then why are people still wanting uncapped?
