Huge Xbox One price cuts

Is huge > massive? Maybe the adjectives of this and the PS4 article should have been swapped.

If we only knew what they were going to announce today, we would have saved our "massive" for the R1,000 price cut (relative to RRP) ;D

R700 off the RRP isn't nothing, but yes the Xbox Sunset Overdrive deal does look like a much more aggressive promotion. Only R300 off on the Standard Edition, though :(
 
I would stay clear of Xbox One until Windows 10 is launched , I have a sneaky suspicion that many Xbone exclusives will be available in the windows store

I thought it was a R500 saving, not really up to date with the price.

Eh? It being in the Windows Store, does not mean you can play it on windows 10 though? I know MS is adding ability to stream games from the Xbox One to the PC, but it still means you need an Xbox One....

I would stay clear from XBOX ONE until further notice after what I read early on today. Rumour has it Sony has signed exclusivity for some games.. not sure how true it is.

And? This only depends on the actual games, since this has always been the case , Sony got their exclusives, MS got theirs and round and round it goes.

The thing is, in the bigger scheme of things, most of the bigger franchises can't (or won't) go for exclusivity other than "time delayed exclusivity" . So even though the rumour is Activition and Sony is in cahoots (Call of Duty Exclusivity), it will most likely just be whatever Microsoft currently have with Activision (month delay between DLCs etc).

Wish FNB pricing wasn't at a premium :/

In the old days you saved by going that route - now it's R7,500+ premium to go the FNB route
