hundred pushups program

Pushups work mainly triceps, not biceps... Or I'm doing it really really wrong!!
 
You are right, it works mostly triceps and pectorals. But a measurement around your bicep will still show growth of your arm muscles all together, so you will be able to measure muscle gains that way.
 
But will be pointless if you're doing biceps exercises (such as pullups) at the same time...

Yup got through it well, managed to do about 10 more than the minimum pushups at the last set each day :)

On some days I struggle more than others to do the pushups. Energy levels an what you eat makes a difference, so don't feel bad if you can't always manage to do the required pushups. Even if you can't manage that you're still getting a good workout.

It will still be cool to keep a record of your gains though! I took my weight and a "before photo" (which I'm keeping to my damn self! :p)

What do you guys think? Honestly? I know that I have a long way to go, but I'm determined to get the results!
 
I will start the initial test today, let's see how it goes :)
 
OK, finally did the initial test last night and managed an impressive .... 19 pushups!

I'll start Monday...
