Greetings.

I got myself a hyper z600 the other day with the intention of installing 2x coolermaster 120mm blue led fans on it, each fan pushes 42cfm.

now i also have 1x zalman zm-f3 120mm fan that pushes out 72cfm

so my question is, will it be better if i put the 2x coolermaster fans in push and pull or will the single zalman fan yield better performance?

oh, i also have 1 of the coolermaster fans mentioned above installed as a rear exhaust fan in my tower.

Thanks

why not test both configs and see which works better, thats wot i wud do

I read a few studies on the net before (one was from AMD) and the conclusion seems to be that exhaust fan alone is very efficient. Some of the configs with many fans were actually way inefficient. Exahust fan being of the 120mm variety or bigger. Also allows for lower rpm which means your pc does not sound like the concorde on take off.

Ok, so youre saying that if i put the single zalman fan on it, it would work better then having the 2x low cfm fans on it and the zalman fan as a rear exhaust fan in the case

Lol, going to install it now, gonna put 2x coolermaster led fans on it and 1x coolermaster led fan as rear exhaust chassis fan

the zalman will go in front of the case

/me thanks all who posted in this thread, even myself :D
