I have a canon mp150, and needed some black ink.

Got some this week for 60bux. No probs with it.

Imagine paying full price, F that.

Sometimes i'm cheap, but only becuase i dont like being blatently ripped off.

I cant remember the last time I bought branded ink for my printers.

I dont know the brand of ink that he used, but he did say it wasnt the 'universal' one, which ever one that is.

60 bux, i still cant belive it.

Do you guys drop off your cartridge for a refill, or have you bought a refill pack type thing and do it yourself? What do you pay?

Neither - I just buy the generics.

I just use Laser :)
And get generic cartridges.
Infinitely cheaper in the long run.
Get around 3000-3500 copies on a R220 (cost) Toner.

Thats cos the Lexmark Printers come with half tank cartridge. Then they complicate things by differentiating with High & Low yield cartridges.
@ mti786: Any Laser printer will do. They retail from a R999 upwards generally. Black only thou. COlour lasers are expensive.

the canon single ink cart. for my IP3000 are around 30-40 bucks. will never buy original again. works just as well.

Is the verimark one good?

Do they fill all ink cartridges?

I read that they are bad for your printer.

at our company we pay R1000 per ink color - but 1 Litre of Magenta goes a long way!

Just something to remember, use a refill cartride and you void tha warranty,so I wouldn't use em till after the warranty is gone :)

Once had a client, bought a brand new photgraphic printer ( HP no less ) for R1200. His kids printed alot so he got refill cartridges and the next day he brought the printer in because it stopped working. When I popped open the sucker there was ink EVERYWHERE,leaking out of the refill cartridges :eww:

Sufficed to say Hp told him to shove that warranty
