@OP, sorry about your bad experience, but sadly this is really out of CoolIdeas' hands. And I agree with you in regards the ISP should handle it for you, but not sure they can do anything for you. The manager should have contacted you though.

Have you thought of getting in touch with SADV? In my personal experience they have much better customer service than vumatel or telkom only issue is a super long installation period.
I plan to move to the are but the estate has vodacom fibre.
