I refuse to touch that pile of....

Sorry I've been tormented by IE for too long :mad:

I must admit I don't like IE no matter what ...I have been using Firefox ever since it came out! and will continue doing so...How would you compare Firefox to Opera???...

I aint used IE in a long time, doesnt interest me to try it.

sounds nice but i'm cruising to the end of the internet at 900 Km/h on firefox - there's no way I would go back, IE is too far behind!

Must agree!... Firefox is the browser to go... I was just curious to see from IE6 to IE8 Beta if there was any major advancement!...Any ways back to Firtefox lol...

Wow, it actually isn't bad. Worth a try.

I'm stuck with Firefox forever, due to all the silly addons I use, but this is a quantum leap for Internet Explorer. They've actually looked at things like Firefox, Opera, Chrome etc and adopted some of the better features.

MS have actually acknowledged the rest of the world... It actually asked to import my bookmarks etc from Firefox when I installed it. :p

And it is very fast.

So one person actually bothered to try it before commenting some FF/Opera spam? :(

It is much faster, I was also surprised. With the IE7Pro extensions it's really not a bad browser. I'll also stick to Opera though. :P

Been using it for a while for certain websites, though I have to use compatibility mode to emulate IE7 to get them to 'work'... but it's definitely quicker. Too bad it takes them six months to produce the next beta. Chromium is averaging twenty builds a day; sure some of them are lemons, but the problems get fixed almost immediately. FOSS ftw

IE7 was better than IE6 though, for some reason the PC I use fscked up with IE6. I just use FF2 though now.

I tried to install the IE8 beta but it wouldn't let me. I'd like to give it a try. IE7 was pretty awful though. I also dislike Opera. Chrome seems unpolished but it's a beta so waiting to see how it comes out. I'm willing to try IE8 for a little while though.

Reality is, custom developed apps with web support use the IE engine, so any advancement is IE is good all round.
