I forgot our anniverary..

Damn..just realized today is Wednesday so YAY..thought it was our anniversart but looked at the date and it's the 20th :erm::wtf:. Damnmit. Called my SO to apologise and she acted like it was all good. She thought I was at home messing around yesterday while I was infact heavily medicated and in bed.

Know for a face that she is pissed and we have had our issues as of late and I think this will add to it. Solutions guys? Going to send a bunch of flowers to her house tomorrow with her fav choclate and I'll see her as soon as I'm well enough to get out of bed. In the mean time any of you guys been through this. Got any idea's of how to smoothen this over? Really dug myself into a hole here... :(
 
Tell her to get over it. If it isn't a regular occurrence then there shouldn't be drama.
 
Just be very nice no matter what she says... it always works, they can't resist ;-)

But seriously, if it happens often, she shud be used to it, i am terrible wid names n dates n my SO has accepted that i dnt remember dates.... Neither do i take suttle hints... Or strong hints for that matter...

My GF forgot our anniversary once. Well she didn't know it was our anniversary. Well she didn't know she was my GF. Actually I don't even think she knew my name.

Yeah, relationships are 2 way streets, if she knew you were home sick, why no effort from her? Not excusing your actions though. We're men. Its always our fault.

She's just as guilty for not bringing it up :)

Maybe it's a gay thing, but we always spoil each other on our anniversary, not just one of us spoiling the other.
 
I always forget my anniversary and I have been married 16 years, it's ok though because my wife also forgets about it.

We not big into the whole lets remember the day we married thing. I love my wife and married her to be with her and I don't need to "count the days" of how long I have done it for. <= my view point and probably lucky that my wife feels the same way otherwise I would be in huge kak every year :D

No, I just mean that "traditionally" it's the guy's job to remember the anniversaries and spoil his girlfriend/wife.

Just saying that in my relationship it has always been mutual so one of us is always likely to remember :)
