This is the only REAL problem on your list. Don't try to have emotional connections with a bunch of strangers on the internets and take what they say so seriously. If you're the type who needs others for validation (as most people are), find some real friends instead.

You probably wont read this anyway but there it is. In short, stop being a 12-year old girl.

My SO of almost a decade is no longer interested.
I am stuck in a dead end unfulfilling job.
I have been slumping into a depression for months now which most likely has caused me to fail as a parent.
The last group of people I thought I had any connection with is making fun of me and calling for myself to "do it".

Yes, I am most likely not able to take my own life, I will even fail at that. It does not change the fact that I feel that death is the only solution.

But thank you all not not ****ing being there when one of your own needed you.

You seem to be aware that you are suffering from depression...that is not an illness you can just shake off. You sound like you've reached the end of your rope and I would advise you to get professional help. Depression can be a very destructive illness and thoughts of suicide are very common. Please get help soon...you have a child to consider

mike i don't care for people who wallow in self pity when they have choices in life while others don't. there is a member of this forum who would give everything to live but life dealt them a blow. as with other people as well. sorry i'm a bit of a hard person but it's reality.

Well she's right... a lot of people are scared ****less about contracting some dodgy disease and dying... and then you have those that are finding out at this moment that they have only months to live.. Then you get these types who consider life pointless.

I'm sure the people with no choice would gladly trade places with the OP.

Yep, just this morning I watched a vid about a 28-year-old guy saying his final good-bye's to his friends and family after being diagnosed with terminal leukemia. Sad, man. :( (Ma'am!)

Still their choice if they want to end it, nobody asked to be born :p You can't be grateful for something you didn't ask for.
