Telkom is like Murphy law, everything that can go wrong will go wrong

See the itemised section of your invoice for a breakdown of charges.
@JIJaney, care to elaborate as to how your invoice explains the amount? I think we might be able to appreciate your frustration better if we understand exactly what the problem is, the only part I understand is the one about bad customer service which Telkom is legendary for but beyond that I am lost.
Please assist in lodging a complaint against Telkom Mobile.
I followed procedure to cancel my Telkom mobile contract on 25-02-2016 by completing a cancellation form at the Telkom store one month before my contract would expire. Eventually Telkom cancelled the service on 21-10-2016 – several cases were lodged and hours spent. Their excuses include that the form was sent to the wrong department and that the system had an error, resulting in them being unable to close the account!
In November they again deducted money from my account and are refusing to refund costs incurred. They now cut my other LTE line, still with cases open!
Telkom also ignores the instruction to cap the account to the subscription amount. I have phoned them various times regarding this.
It also seems that Telkom is illegally immune to blocking and returning their debit orders from my bank, Nedbank. Out of frustration I eventually tried to return the end of September deduction – within the 3 day period allowed. My bank was not able to return the charge and a dispute had to be lodged. In October the three month block was also ineffective and the debit charge reflected once again.
Telkom also stopped sending me e-mail statements after I demanded that they send detailed statements showing call and SMS logs. The last statement received was 6 August 2016. They do however still deduct from my account as they see fit.
Yesterday I was promised a return phone call as the supervisor was ‘busy’. Today I spoke to a supervisor, I was promised an e-mail response with detailed statements and call logs as well as a phone call from the supervisor. None actually transpired. At 16:00 I called again and had to give up at 16:30, again being promised a return phone call from another supervisor as the useless earlier one had 'knocked off' already. Again, no call was received.
I have detailed e-mail records of my dealings with Telkom.
You should send a PM to the Telkom representative on the forum. TelkomZAIs there any advice here on how to get to the head of the snake, someone with a contact or tip?

Nexus apparently there is a by law... There is nothing we can do about it.
We went to court and stuff to find out etc...
Even if i am not at home the telkom guys can jump over and do their thing and we cant lay a charge! This country is soooo full of sh*t.!!
Anyways I got my justice... I have adopted the SATAWU methods! Smashed the windscreen, popped his tires... and gave him a smack! He said he's calling the cops and going to have me arrested. I showed him that any damage done on my property is my responsiblity and outside the jurisdiction of the policeSo he can go ***** himself! Basically i can do what the ***** i want on my own property!!! Even if that means *****ing up a telkom van!!!
I cant wait for another company to come along... Even if their service is worse then telkom i dont care. I am going to change the first chance i have!! I am tired of Telkom and their nonsense!!!!! Sons of b*tches!!! Mother *****ers!! I OPENLY CURSE EVERY SINGLE TELKOM SCUM BAG!!! I HOPE YOU GET MUGGED, RAPED, MURDERED, KNOCKED BY A BUS, [INSERT WISH HERE]!!! I use to have sympathy for these people.... NOT ANY MORE!!! If these b*stards want a WAR i'll GIVE them a WAR!!!!!!!
Next Telkom guy that has to do something on the exchange in my backyard is going to get a good few smacks first then he can come in.... I am going to put a sign outside my house that states:
"If you are a telkom employee you are subject to 20 minutes of physical abuse upon entering. By entering the premises you abide the rules and agree to the terms and conditions layed out"
I am going have this engraved in the smallest humanly possible font and have stuck outside my front gate!!!!
put a bullet through their head and bury the body
Jacqui never replies she has about 4 of my emails read and just sits there
