I hate Windows 8

Windows 8.1 is great. Way better than Windows 7. However if you have trouble adapting to change this will be frustrating for you.

Yup, multi monitor support is great. No more need to use ultramon

I finally caved and installed one of those start menu replacements. Not that i use the start menu that often but that metro screen appearing every time I press the Windows button got a bit much.

I've personaly converted to Ubuntu, less worries about adware and virusses and these days the linux desktop has very little lacking in functionality and ease of use.

Having said that, MS is rolling out the second big update sometime August or September that will bring back a mix of the classic start menu and the metro screen or whatever it's called.
