Recently I've been able to play this game, after finishing my computer. I started playing it first, which was perhaps a bad idea when I have about 35 other games lol
Anyway, it took me a short while to get into it and learn how the world works, but after that, I've become an addict. I've played over 17 hours now, but my character is only on level 4 (he's a Battlemage). I've done almost 30 quests, yet I feel like I've done only a tiny fraction of what's available.
The graphics are stunning, and it's so much fun. Sound quality is a little low though for a game of this type, which is a pity. That is my only real complaint I guess.
I luckily managed to find the Shivering Isles expansion pack, as well as Knights of the Nine, which I'll get to eventually. I always said that Neverwinter Nights was my favourite pc game, but now I can safely say that Oblivion takes it.
Lastly, I'm running at 1920x1200 with everything enabled except anti aliasing. My 8800GTX can probably do it, but I still need to learn the ins and outs of everything. As is, I barely notice aliasing except when talking to a character. HDR lighting when the sun comes up makes me smile it looks so pretty
