Yip, Oracle isn't a language in itself. Like someone mentioned, it's also pretty expensive to run with.

Why not start your own business mercurial?

Just a thought...

I have thought about it, but I don't know I would want to do. Also, there's the risk of not making any income. At least by working for someone, I am guaranteed an income...

not always, one of the companies I contract out to had to pay employees on the last day of the month instead of the 25th because clients didn't honor their contracts and also paid late.

Own business.... dude, if I had R200k I'd SO be there and be square. Saving up :)

Have everything set. Just need the money :) :) :)

Erf, will take a year or two but I'm sure I'll get there. My business is my "retirement" plan.

Shame. Not in my case though.

pnet is good for jobs... try it...

I listed my CV there at the end of 2001. At the beginning of November 2008 a lady from Pnet called me and asked me if I would be interested in a job. The job was for me to do Dutch interpreting. I can't speak the language although I took Dutch and Afrikaans till 3rd year level.

I told her thanks, but no thanks.
