You still haven't given a reason why. I would agree if you can point out some problems with those quotes.

I just dont see how this is even a debate...
my religious views are my own and not keen to be shared,
but just take common sense:
A man punts that the most cardinal 2 rules are to love they neighbour and not to judge others.
Then surrounds his life with prostitutes and thieves....

at what point does he advocate hate and discrimination again?

Either use common sense or stop cherry picking verses in the bible.

Otherwise remember anybody who has eaten shrimp, prawns or pork is already condemned to damnation.
Because Jesus hates shrimp eaters too...

Everything in the waters that has not fins and scales is detestable to you.

my point being - stop crying about it, realize the issue lies with you, not your friend/family
realize that she needs help and be there for her as this is probably a lot harder for her than for you.
