Now they claim two of the assailants had passports on their persons.
One with a Syrian passport and another with an Egyptian passport.

Now who would carry their ID to such a heinous crime? A crime they were prepared to die for.

OK, for example; you decide to die whilst bombing the president. You pitch up, but the president does not. His security then rumble you and the chase begins. So how do you escape across the border? Do you just make the bomb go off and kill yourself + a guard or damage the building?

A passport is also an ID. Since he just arrived from Syria via Greece. It's how you get through checkpoints at the Metros etc. How you check in at hotels, etc.

I think most suicide bombers are very committed which is why I find it strange, you often hear of suicide bombers where things go wrong and the bomber is only one killed.

Well according to the UK's Mail, the stadium was a target and the bomber was discovered and exploded it outside..

As France declared a state of emergency and tightened its borders, it emerged that a catastrophe was averted at the Stade de France, where 80,000 watched a friendly football match between France and Germany.

A security guard frisked one of the attackers as he tried to enter the stadium with a ticket, only to find that he was wearing an explosives vest.

My stepdaughter has a pen pal in Paris, as part of her French studies.
Pen pal's best friend was at the concert, right near the attacks. She lay down and covered herself with blood from the dead man next to her and kinda pulled his body on top of herself.
The terrorists took a few potshots at them to ensure they were dead. She was hit in the legs, the man's body saved her life.
Heavily sedated in hospital now.
