Thanks for the info. Glad you got it stable. Unfortunately, some motherboards don't have DVID, like my MSI, and no way to turn off LLC (Auto or Low). Ugh. I'm just keeping it on stock clocks, since I don't really need the extra speed, and trying to be as economical here in winter as possible, lol.
This isn't really 'droop'. Drooping is specifically when your voltage drops under load. Load Line Calibration is something that is designed to countract vdroop by increasing voltage when your CPU is under load, and should have no affect on idle voltage. The problem with many SB motherboard manufacturers is that their LLC is too aggressive, in that it boosts load voltage too much, sometimes 0.05v or higher than at idle. This then leads to the opposite of the old problem of high idle voltage with vdroop, where now you have decent idle voltage and high load voltage. It is this that seems to lead to the idle BSODs, since the load voltage is high enough, when boosted by LLC, but the idle voltage is not.
