Candygurl, re cut them off completely. Yes. That's why theres this fuss.
The Company cut up to 160 people off, and spread the word that these people were somehow 'bad' for just believing that they were on the slower service, and were downloading quite legitimately.
So this Company breached its contracts (I think) and cut people off completely, and then suspiciously made them ask 'in writing' for 'extra bandwidth' (in order to get internet service again.)
So my point re the form letter, is to make it clear that this request ISNT for 'extra bandwidth' - its actually to get reconnected - and its a lie for this Company to call it 'ask us for extra bandwidth'.
