What the **** are these guys smoking? 5Mbps and 100Mbps. Oh, and that contract clause ... I am on month to month, and HAVE NEVER even seen a contract

Excuse me? Where does it say we have to keep an eye on what we're doing online? That's the job of an ISP to police, not us. But we 'consciously abused our ability to exceed the monthly allowance'? What kind of twisted logic is that? We're customers and we download stuff. We're not this evil thing that Thami seems to be saying we are.

So now we're not only 'bad' - according to IBurst, we by implication are apparently criminals and/or hackers 'who managed to bypass the 64kbps throttle'.

That's what they're trying to paint the disconnected users as being. 'Criminals' of some kind. Their tactics become ever clearer...

I'm going to speak to my friend at wbs and ask whats going on .. because this seems to just get worse by the day!!
 
Hi LG, I'm MightyPen, I'm a hacker and a criminal. No really, I used to be an ordinary guy, then i got broad band and it was all down hill from there. People tried to warn me, but i wouldn't listen. I thought i could control it. It started as a few hundred megs, but then i just had to have more. I tried to stop really i did, i thought a bandwidth throttle would force me to slow down, but they lied LG,, they Lied!!! AAHHHHG!!! Why, why... i knew i should never have tried I-burst!!!

so i'm dramatic, sue me.
 
Good morning children, this it Mr Pen, today he will be speaking to your grade 8 class about the evils of bandwidth. Do drugs children, drink beer, have sex, but please, please don't do broad band!!!
 
100mbit a second my ass, let me tell you right now if I had 100mbit for a day I would never need to download anythign again.

i have also heard that they have cameras i their modems... seriously... they watch what you are doing thats why they would recommend rather getting an antenna... then putting your modem outside. they're watching you all the time... even if you are not connected...

If it really was 100Mbit, then the 3GB cap would be reached in 245 seconds!!! Good luck to you okes!!!
