Hi folks

We have received complaints about a few members disrupting discussions in the forum and effectively trolling the iBurst forum. This includes personal attacks and false accusations against iBurst employees.

We can unfortunately not allow this, and if this continues you will be banned from accessing this forum. We encourage honest feedback and debate, but if you have an axe to grind please don’t think messing the forum up for everyone is the way to go.

RPM , I have requested that you please post an article posting the facts around the Iburst pricing and the lies that came with it.
The only reason I am still posting here is cause i and other users were lied to and not even given an apology.
There are a couple of facts that need to be made aware to the public, facts that i would have expected MBB to cover but have not until this time.
People need to be made aware of facts before they join Iburst.

I feel as a community site these facts and lies should be covered by MBB.
They lie , promises broken without even an apology . FACT !
They have a non existent service support system with people being ignored , telephones at their support number not getting answered , emails not getting responses etc FACT!
If you go with them you will end up with hardware that is useless when you leave them . FACT!
Their accounts department is a mess. Over billing , wrong statements etc. FACT!
They became more *expensive in a time where everyone else is getting cheaper. FACT!

*Old
5 GB + 64k throttle = R 599
New
5 GB + 64k throttle = 445 + 199 = R 644

All of these facts that i claim has proof to back up.

Regardless of whether Iburst is a site sponsor or not , this whole repricing from Iburst should covered in detail and Jannie should appologize to me amongst other users that was blatantly lied to.
We were told that we could move back to the old pricing if we wanted to do so , now we just getting ignored ... Does this seem fair to you ?

You want to ban me for warning users against iburst with facts, then its a sad day indeed when MBB now takes sides with sponsors instead of the community and the principles that this website was created for .
Let me ask you this, would you accept being lied to and then straightly ignored when you ask questions and just move on >?

I saw this coming <see my signatures and read the posts and then tell me that my anger is not justified >

Yeah, there does seem to be a concerted effort by one or two people (using many alias`s) to push their own gripe. So you dont like Iburst... um.. its a free market... choose someone else?

Keep your issues in the relevant thread, stop screwing up threads belonging to other users.

Okay , are you a contract user ?
Yes ?
Do you realise that when your contract expires you will aslo have to pay extra to keep the 64k that always used to be free ?

Maybe I should be more direct - please stop trolling the forum. Your issue was heard - it may result in an article. Stop taking over every thread with your complaints.

Im just hoping that someone exposes this properly before more people fall into the trap that was set by Jannie`s false promises.
The people have the right to know and that was my only goal is to inform them since mbb hasnt (up until now).

I cancelled my contract years ago. I moved to a better service.

I find it sad when sponsorship > truth

I only have one (1) login here.
I actually post under my proper name unlike most others.
As far as I know all the complaints have come from legitimate users.
 
Yeah Gary I just ignore remarks like that , i also just have one User account here.
Aw well , you know what ... Whatever happpens whether MBB reports on this or not , iburst will never be able to stop the bad press i give them via word of mouth. Another 2 corporate clients advised against Iburst today alone.

I have said my say here and backed it up with facts.
It is up to MBB to decide whether they will do the right thing and expose this to more than just the readers of this Iburst sub-forum.

Hmm iburst is just ignoring us anyway by the looks of it .. Ostrich syndrome .
I hope MBB posts an article about this whole situation , other than that i will do my bit to inform people as much as I can against iburst.
I even go as far as to create oppertunities to bring up the subject .
3 x Clients warned against iburst today :) Just doing my part for the community and the better of mankind .

Hmmmm, most MyBB regulars know to steer far clear of iBurst if they can help it. All of the issues you mentioned in your previous post have been discussed countless times before on MyBB. It's not like MyBB has tried to hide the truth on this. Sounds like someone didn't do their homework before signing up?
