Back in the days when we all fought Sentech, there was lot of bitching, and moaning and complaints as well. And it was pretty much all that ever got posted in the Sentech forums. When a good thread came around though, the good thread was just as vigorously discussed. Feel free to go and have a look.
What we did *not* however, do, was to copy and paste the same complaint in any thread remotely related to Sentech. This is called staying "on topic", and it is simple, basic netiquette. If you don't have something to say about the topic -- then don't. Unless the topic is around the issue of the 64kbps service of course.
I disagree with the views that this forum is "sponsored". The iBurst forum is certainly not sponsored to my knowledge. iBurst has a presence in it, that is all. I don't feel that the moderators are moderating unfairly, in fact, I used to be one of the moderators of this forum as well, and constantly copying and pasting a standard message when someone mentions the word iBurst, unfortunately makes people irritated.
Moderators generally moderate when there are complaints about annoying behaviour -- believe me they would generally prefer not to have to sort out forum posts. The moderators are picked for being thoughtful, and considerate members interested in making MyADSL a better place, not for their draconian personalities or alliances. I resigned as moderator when I felt that my position and involvement in the industry would put me at odds with the place this is intended to be. I know "ginggs" fairly well too, and I believe that he has no ulterior motive for moderating.
Dusk's move by linking into his signature is in my view a much more successful mechanism of drawing attention to the issue wherever he posts. Other than that, thoughtful and meaningful argument regarding the topic at hand is your friend. Action is even better. Just ask Sentech
