When am i supposed to stop laughing? Iburst is only commited to ripping off their customers.

And no other South African broadband operator can claim to have stolen more than 1/5th of their subscriber bases money via unauthorised debit orders.
 
biggest load of crap, what a waste of web space for the mybroadband website, totaly useless information, I hope i*** dont try and use this to woe people over to there rubbish products.
 
Getting free bandwidth from Iburst is like getting an offer for free sex from an HIV infected harbour prostitute.

I am still there and based on the lot of uncapped connects I get they have plenty of unused bandwidth laying around. But I am trying to be a good boy :)

Now iBurst giving 500Mb a day at full speed will be something to brag about.
 
The gesture would carry far more weight in the "showing our commitment to the customer" department if they didn't use it as an opportunity to blow their own trumpet.

Probably didn't cost them more than R100k. For that they get free publicity and spyware installed on 8500 pc's. It's a good deal.
 
I'd say, keep the data and rather improve your service and image
Look at it from a longterm perspective
Leave the cheap showmanship crap to experts like telkom

Very dangerous that spyware. It might monitor your internet usage, which iBurst couldnt do before, being your internet provider.

What do you really think this spyware would be used for? It sends them some data about your connection for their networks and to help people. Then it maliciously...?
 
I'll never go back to the incompetent heap of rubbish that is iBurst. Having said that... I regularly get over 1Gb freeexcess data with a Telkom Internet account (as do many others) and nobody sees that as a bragging point. *laughs at the PR of iBust*
