Hi there,

I'm a current ADSL user but moving to a new place soon, I forsee myself moving around often so I dont intend on paying telkom for a line install every single time I move so I'm looking towards getting iBurst... my question is about the hardware - Im guessing you need quite a powerful wireless card to receive iBurst - currently I have a netgear wireless router and a USB netgear 54mbps wireless card - are either of these any good or do i HAVE to pay for iBurst's wireless equipment?

Thanks

have a look @ their site, the new UTU looks quite good, draws power from usb, so no extra power cables...

But it has signal strength issues, so stick with the UTD for now.

Anyway the new UTD looks realy good.

Well you could at least use that Netgear wireless router of yours when you are in one place, it helps to be able to install the modem where ever the signal is best, then access it wirelessly from the router so your PC can still be anywhere you want it.

In any case you dont seem too clued up about Iburst, maby you should look around these forums and check if they even have coverage all around your area if you want to be moving around. If you are in JHb it shouldnt be a much of a problem.

Fantastic, some forum users are rather unhappy with the practice of public sales intros.

Since I believe the context to be valid I will not delete the post. Please stick to PM's for such assistance.

Thanks "regardtv" ,
I am assisting "blunt" if he needs it.
