iBurst uncapped for R299

Sounds like quite a good deal, if their network was reliable. 2GB a day is not bad for a FUP. Is it calculated per-day or as some sort of average? i.e. if I hit 2GB at 6PM will I be throttled until midnight and back to normal?

LOL at 1Mbps.... has anybody achieved this? I guess it should be easier now than when there were still users on the network...
alas, without proper signal , not for me thanx.
had one user on it... gave it away. dial up speeds don't cut it anymore, not even 'uncapped'

wow....this looks rather nice. No way I can use 5 gig in a day (unless I download a bluray or something). Say anyting about p2p?

From last time I used them, they just block p2p. And it was on capped, had no idea where to spend all traffic.

They still block p2p during the day and sometimes past midnight to.

Can someone using iburst comment on there speed and service please.

The fair use policy offers users 5GB of daily use, after which the service is throttled to 256kbps for the remainder of the day.

Damn that throttling!! Not interested, thanks but no thanks.

5km from 14th Avenue Precinct tower. On a slope facing the tower. During the night I get 100% speed. From about 7am starts slowing down to 80% as more users come on line.

I am so tempted to take this but the 24 month contract kills the deal for me. Why dont they just give the option to buy the router and pay month to month.
