IBurst Unshaped vs ADSL

I see that iburst has a 9GB package which is unshaped.

Can I get some opinions on what will work better for things like skype.

ADSL or this iBurst package.

with iBurst you get unshaped but u lose a few ms on your ping due to it being over the radiowaves ....

with ADSL it's shaping ...

What will therefore give me the best connection quality ...
 
you want an honest opinion? if you asked this yesterday, iBurst would have won by a fraction, but from today its a different story, i'd say uncapped adsl kills iburst, burns it and pees on the ashes. normal 384 adsl doesn't compare to iburst (or 192 for that matter) but 512 adsl with a 3gb cap is about exactly the same, because adsl is more reliable and has better pings but iburst is faster, adsl has local uncapped iburst has local and international throttled after you reach your limit but its your own 64k pipe.

if you can get uncapped adsl or all you can eat, go for it, no contest, but if you want normal 512 adsl with a 3gb cap, i'd say choose whichever one is cheaper

Ok .. but my question is still pertaining to Skype ... would the unshaped wireless be any better then ADSL or would the 'radio problems' put both services on par ?
 
erm, yah, i dont care about been shaped local and international when i hit the cap. most of the stuff i want is abroad. better shaped 64kb then freeken no international bandwith at all. I still have the other 99% of the internet.

I have freeken unreliable adsl at work, and i like my speedy iburst
 
skype works great! better than my previous 64k dialup... btw you can guess my skype username...
