So by my understanding of this word it means we lost what was a certain win, so absolutely no credit to Australia, sorry Watson, for what they achieved? A little arrogant and rather ungracious surely?
 
We just got to try and draw this out as long as possible and hope that India sneak home against Pakistan and we need to put India away with a massive margin.

Even then Aus still needs to beat Pakistan.

Well Aus still need to be beat the Paki's....


Too many variables at play... SA don't deserve to be in the semi's.

They're not a better team! We select crap players who fail and put pressure on the rest of the team! 86/5 after 14 overs, are you really trying to defend this performance? How much longer are they going to keep doing this to their fans? People paid lots of money to travel and support them!

I'm wide awake thanks. Trying to understand the mentality. So the choker tag is actually being applied to the previous result and not this one? I think you guys have lost control of your own use of you favoured word...

It's a choke from the perspective that in order to progress in this tournament we need to win this game. This game, is in essence our final. And considering we ranked 1st in T20 cricket and OZ 5th you would expect SA to win yes.

I am hardly defending the performance but I am slamming the pathetic attitude of many SA "supporters" (that word used loosely again) who turn against the team after a bit of a bad spell. Much easier to just label the team as chokers than actually assess the performance. Hell, who needs enemies when you have great supporters like these.

So as I said, a choke has now become a term used for any SA loss....
