Seems they putting in other peoples ID nr mostly, so wont help.

They should not just ignore the problem. All least, put a big bold notification on the webpage, saying that the sim can't be activated if the id in the system is not the customer's id.

The working theory on the forum is that people sign up with someone else's ID number on purpose, perhaps due to a credit check.

At first I thought that Rain should simply add a check sum for ID numbers, but that wouldn't stop people using someone else's valid ID number.
