Okay. I don't follow the show at all but have heard all of the contestants sing in highlight shows and tonight while waiting for food and Grey's Anatomy.
And I can not believe that that Thembi girl was voted out tonight.

She was actually the only one IMHO that could sing.

Lendell(sp) sure has a big following of friends with massive cellphone bills at the end of the month.

Like I said. I do not follow the show at all. Watch lots of highlights while waiting for other programs to begin or to lazy to change channel

My quick view is:

Graeme is useless and just riding the wave of a great great audition. Ever since then never really did anything great.

Lendell. Pfftttt

Jason is pretty good. Like his voice.

Sasha Lee is trying to hard and then screws up the whole song. If she just sings naturally she would do good.

Thembi is amazing and a natural entertainer. She was the only consistent performer.
 
Was there any other good people voted out when it was suppose to be Lendell or Graeme?

Oh very very phoney. But I saw that on another show where she irritated me very much. She was also on Matrix on MK.
Don;t know if you saw it?
But she was so: "My mo hulle het 'n stronthuis in Hortenbos."
Really trying to hard.
 
It was a Afrikaans show about 8 girls just finishing Matric and going on holiday. Followed by cameras the whole day.

Very funny to watch them try so hard to act.

There was actually some girls in that show that had surgery done. Or at least some Botox injections.
 
Lendel is there because majority of Durban are voting for him. Let's face it.
 
Idols is a show that is run by votes. So it stands to reason that sometimes of the guys that go through are not really the best performers, but they are popular.
 
Graeme OMG he's terrible! He cant hold a melody geez has no ear for music, voice is not the worst in the world but if you're deaf you cant sing.

Everyone crits Lendel but he has good texture in his voice and it comes out effortlessly, he's smooth but doesnt have a loud voice at all, he just does his thing he's not trying particularly hard though.

Jason is fine, right on the money although people are hypeing him abit.
Sasha is good, aaaag if she was on MK with a fake accent who cares! Does that effect her singing? If you're going to be on MK or kyknet you might aswell put on a fake white afr accent, you might just get more work, put on you're best Capey accent and you wont get a callback i'm sure, young girl trying to make it in showbiz... fake it to make it if need be i say. At the end of the day i think she's a good responsible young lady, not that it matters.

Thembi was my weeekend special :D And i was sure she was going to win, but ya people dont have contract phones with free sms's in the townships.
 
That happens if you let illeterate people vote and take 100% of their votes. Jason, Sasha and Thembi can all sing. Graeme and Lendel can sing but not as good as the first three mentioned but like i said....ask ppl to vote and you will get what we have now
 
I support Lendel and will be getting a nice high bill at the end of the month.
I dont mind it though as my IDOL is in the final 4.
