iKonic IT purchasing experiences?

What sort of experiences have you had purchasing from iKonic IT?

I usually buy PC hardware bits from Take 2, but they don't have this. iKonic have come up as the best option in my searching, but I've never heard of them, so I'm a little hesitant to buy from them.

Edit: I'm in Cape Town, so experience from fellow Capetonians would be useful, esp. as far as shipping goes.

Their prices seems to be very reasonable. I placed an order with them some time ago and one of the items was not in stock. They suggested a specific replacement for that item which I did not like so I decided to wait for the one I originally ordered.

Since then, I have changed my mind and have mailed them twice to ask if the other items on the order are in stock and whether I can order another item in the place of the one which was not available originally. I never heard from them again...

I must admit that I have only heard positive feedback from them otherwise.

ikonicit are very slow to respond to their own messaging system, there seems to be a lack of urgency and general bad service from my experience.

Great prices but a little slow and lacklustre on service though. I normally collect from them. It's a small operation run by the son of a chiropractor that works from home......

Yip. Great prices don't help if you are in a hurry.

+1. They also have very good prices and great service. I don't even stay in CT and I order from them.

Same for me. First experience was good. Second time they didnt respond to my email queries about stock, so I didnt order. Still havent.

I just ordered exceleram and They told me stock and I gave them the proof of payment and I don't knwo if they recieved them. In the other hand I bought from comxx like many times and thye have good service. I always get my stuff at least 2 days after and prices are not bad there either.

This is my first and last time buying from them
