I'm done...

Hmmm... I got one of those messages from WA this past week saying that due to a problem with their billing system I will be charged R210 as well for last month. Thing is, I am not subscribed to any recurring account with them and the only account on there is for a pay-as-you-go thing. I used openweb local and telkom international last month, no WA. Time to check the bank account then and double check when I had that issue with telkom where I had to use WA.

I've had no problems with www.axxess.co.za this past year.

I was with them a while back and had big problems. Phone was never answered, they ignored my emails. They put usage on my account that was not the same as the SAIX meter (Theirs was higher) and their idea (at the time) of 4GB was 4000 Meg. I will NEVER deal with them again.

Hi SinnerG

If you have not yet received sufficient assistance, kindly send your client code with contact details along to myself via PM (or you may email me)and I will be sure to look into your account as soon as possible.

Have a lovely day ahead

I'm going to buy an account from WebAfrica and take a screenshot of the clearly ticked "one month" or whatever it says, and I will prove to them they screw up all the time!

I have 4 prepaid accounts and 2 subscription accounts and have not had any problems like this. My prepaid's work as such and the subscriptions work the way they are supposed to.

Maybe just clear up if it was a month-to-month subscription or a prepaid option you chose.

If it was prepaid then I would have refused to pay the R140-00, but if it was a month-to-month then the onus was on you to make proper arrangements with WA for the time you did not use them. You should have contacted them to suspend the account.

I cannot recommend an ISP that will overlook your flaws and "take one for the team" as it were, if it was your negligence. However, if it was a prepaid account, then you have a strong foot to stand on and I would not blame you for looking at other alternatives.

WA is great, I have used them for a while now but, this month after suspicious billing I have decided to move on to greener pastures, I don't argue with them I pay and move on, its their loss not mine, plenty other ISP's ready to sell.

It seems to me that at this stage is the accounts department that are messing up big time.

I have a habit of trusting and never check but I know what I use, they might think that we are dumb but, in my eyes they the ones there are dumb because you screw me once and its goodbye business.

If they are happy overcharging (taking a chance) its ok with me, like I said I moved on.

And btw, I really don't care to dicuss this with WA.
