No more specific than 'something under 4k' ....... the list is endless bru :eek:
 
You can get a 3.5 inch Achro refractor. Personally I'd go for a 6 inch Dob for those nights you dont want to lug the 12 inch around.

Odd, I've just been looking at that! Might have some free time next month, and I'm thinking of going to Rome for a week.

Definitely costs more than R4000 though ;)
