iMac 21.5 dvd drive problem/ software ?

Okay getting dvd coasters when im using Toast 10.04. When i put the speed down to 1x it seems fine. I see that it is a common problem on the new iMacs. Getting a "Interface Error 5 Connection not Stable" error. Anybody else having the same or a similar problem. Very annoying !

Check to see if there's an update for the drive. Just installed an update today for a client.
