Morning all!
Yeah - don't ask me either... the inconsistencies around the accounts are more puzzling than we can understand.
I wasn't in the meeting yesterday, as had my own meetings going on so haven't had chance to catch up and get feedback yet. Will be in touch soon!

ppedrick. R w going to have mweb from 1st june ? :)

Well if it makes you feel any better at night I only get around 17k :/

But will definitely be giving mweb a try next month....through Imagine of course tho!

I also get ~17KBps..... shows to me that indeed we are throttled (whistle).

Ppedrick, sorry if we've asked already.
The "renew" date is on Thursday..... do you have info on Mweb @ Imagine for us for June?

ppedrick. R w going to have mweb from 1st june ? :)

I'm now responsible for this so I'm hoping like hell that MWeb will respond to my questions and emails asap... it's been a litle too quiet since my Request for Info was sent off on Thursday and time is ticking by. Will be on the phone to them today and so hopefully can let you know more. I understand that they are busy and there are a million companies like us, however, it'd be good to do this in a manageable fashion so there isn't a last minute panic!

cool. thanks.

/moves away from the panic button.

Ok guys - the panic button is today I feel.
I haven't heard back from MWeb and although they are keen and motivated to do this... and it's likely that we can all get it done int he time scales... I urge you to consider your options today.
We have a cancellation policy of the 15th and a payment date of 20th.

If you not going to pay for next month then please let us know immediately. It costs a huge amount of money as well.
If you are wanting to cancel with the hope we get MWEb on board then I'm going to try and get that signed off today as well.

Sorry to have to say it guys and was hoping I wouldn't have to. However, I feel that I have to be honest and let you all know as soon as their's a question mark on it all.

P.

Hi Ppedrick.... I am going to pay now for another month of IS, I'm away come month end so won't be able to keep the household's www running if the account details change and whatnot.
So to continue the same account, I just send you my proof of payment?

hey froot - if you're paying on EFT then yes... proof of payment will help a lot cheers.

Also, I've just been talkign to the accounts dept and they processed the debit orders 2 days ago so that they get debited tomorrow... it's damned annoying that the banks are so bad here that you have to do something mid-month.

So I have got everyone to agree to a credit note or a refund (your choice) if you cancel the accounts today. Again, I feel it is better that you do that now if you wish to have the option of the account change at the end of the month.

I hope that all makes sense! :D
P.

EDIT - Stupidly didn't say how to cancel!
Please email send your username and contact details to our helpdesk at imainge and inform them that you wish to cancel your account in preparation for the new MWeb accounts. You can then request either a refund or credit note if you are on debit order and/or decide then and there if you want to carry on the IS service if the MWeb service is not launched for June.

bit confused here.

1) when do i EFT your guys for payment on my account.
2) i want to can my account i should just email my account detail to your help desk.
3) if it's canceled do i still have use till end of the month ?

1) when do i EFT your guys for payment on my account.
EFT tomorrow ideally as payment should be on 20th.

2) i want to can my account i should just email my account detail to your help desk.
Yes - email and let them know if you are cancelling waiting on MWeb or just cancelling and if you wish them to contact you before the end of the month with options.. or carry on the IS account etc..

3) if it's canceled do i still have use till end of the month ?
You will have full usage until the end of the month... this is just an annoying administration issue.

Hope that helps!
