Importing Mail into Windows Live Mail

Is it as easy as from Outlook ot Outlook?

My stepfather wants me to try and I'm not 100 percent sure how!

Can you be a little more clear? Is this Windows Mail in Vista you talking about? If so, the account in Mail should be detected the first time you run Live Mail.
