I went to the Cell C shop on Friday 22 February to get myself a contract. First, I checked whether they had stock of the Galaxy Note II, which I was told they did. So I applied. The application was successful, but then I was told that they didn't have stock of the Note II and I had to come back on Tuesday to get it. At this moment I got a bit irate with their incompetence already, but decided to just take the Galaxy SIII of which they had stock. I was told that it would cost me R329 regardless of taking the normal 99c or top up version. Then when I was about to sign I saw the price was not as stated (R329), after which they **** to me and told me the price that was shown to me was including the R114 connection fee (something I would've noticed was not the case since even a Grade 1 would be able to see it didn't add up). Then they changed their story to say I will pay even less then the R329, but I just didn't believe it, after which I said to just change it to the R329 contract. They told me they would have to cancel the contract and reapply which would take till Tuesday. I decided to just cancel, but now the connection fee (R114) was billed. The worst thing about this is the fact that I had to take half a day off to get the contract. And if I had to go back it would mean taking off again to do so.
The manager told me the person who helped me was still in training, so if said person is still in training, why is said person not supervised?
