Inconsiderate N1 Bikers

loosing one mirror is unfortunate, and can be because of an a hole biker,

but if it really has happened 5 times you should be looking at WHY its happening.
are you putting yourself in the way, are you maybe being one of those people that even the most calm and collected biker like myself would loose his sh*t at?

I have been riding for 12 years this year.
I have grabbed one womens phone from her hands and smashed it on the road. she was swerving really badly because she was BBMing.

I have kicked one lady's mirror off.
she turned left into oncoming traffic (corner modderfontein and peace road) she nearly hit me and 3 otehr cars. I was not lane splitting. the robot was solidly green for us and red for her. she never stopped, just ran the robot.
when we got to the next robot I took her mirror off, gave it to her and said "next time pay a bit of attention" got back on my bike and rode off.

let me ask you this. if you keep falling for 419 scams, is it because you have poor spam filtering, or because you are gullible?

Such a tough guy intimidating women. Hope you grow some balls one day and do that to a man then get your teeth kicked in.

as ready as everyone else on this forum is to admit they never break any laws of the road and always drive 100% according to the k53

There is no justification whatsoever for what you did. You might have an anger problem.

well seeing as I am so deep in right now, why not. lets continue with this.

let me make this hole deeper.
if either of those incidents involved men doing the same thing (at that time in my life mind you) I would have reacted the exact same way. sure chances are I would have gotten into a fist fight. I lost my cool in those moments, and I have lost my cool at other times as well.

granted, I do not loose my cool that often anymore, but I can still get angry. but I am no longer an "angry biker"

and there is no way any biker can defend himself on this forum without being called an angry biker.

right now I am the focus of the attention and everyone is having a go (rightfully so based on my posts)
but hey, go ahead white night on here.

also just a side note not that it matters, but I do always drive defensively. I ride a cruiser so I literally cannot speed, the bike is not capable of going faster than 135 (its a 1997 Yamaha Virago with all the original parts still go look up the top speed the bike can do ow take into account how old it is....)

I have removed numerous mirrors people don't seem to need as they don't use it.

Amazing that people in cars feel they have more rights on the road than a biker does. Please understand that if a Biker makes a mistake he huts/kills himself only. If you make a mistake in your car you kill those around you. From reading the OP I asked a question which has not been answered yet. I can only assume the following happened. OP 's lane got encroached by the tax so instead of giving the taxi the space he stayed next to it trying to either keep the taxi out or not lose his spot so he crept into the lane next to it. He then crept directly into the space the biker was occupying. Now if he knew the biker was there by watching his mirror then he would not have driven straight in front of the biker.

I don't know the facts, but imagine for a second you're a guy on a bike with zero protection against other vehicles and ride all the way from JoBurg to Pretoria daily. How many close calls do you think he had before he reached you? Maybe you were the unlucky one to feel his wrath after dodging 20 odd cars before you.

No need to defend yourself. That women lost her mirror because she obviously doesn't need it. Want to know what the first thing would have been out of her mouth if she ran you over?

"I didn't see him"

No matter whether you hurt, maimed of killed... "Oops, I didn't see him"

I did. I have worked on it since then. and you can actually see the progression of my post history over the last two years and see me being less angry all the time.
I actually used this forum to rant and rage and get rid of some of my anger.

Another biker defending assault and criminal damage to property because his feelings were hurt by the evil yucky car not treating him like a princess on the road.

Waah, waah, the car didn't look out for me. Well guess what? Doesn't give you the right to attack them.

You chose to ride a bike, a thing you know to be dangerous, a thing you know offers you no protection, and then you get angry at cars for not treating you like a special princess?

No I don't think you do understand your actions were wrong. You can't accuse her of attempted murder because you can't prove that she intended to kill you or anyone else.

She was a negligent driver - guess what, there are millions of negligent drivers and motorcyclists in this country and this is why the death toll is so high. Get used to it and stop expecting everyone else to treat you like a princess on the road. Because they won't, and they never will, and this is why they try to teach car drivers to drive defensively. Drive like everyone else on the road is an idiot and you will be right 50% of the time.

You are still trying to defend your actions instead of just admitting you were wrong and you were an aggressive, angry biker.

And you wonder why bikers have a bad name?

No one else seems to be policing the roads, this is just active policing by the citizens themselves... :P

Sure, call it what you like. I don't need to defend my lifestyle to you. I do however need to protect myself. And if that means I need to kick your mirror off to teach you how to use it then so be it. Why you cage drivers are so anal about us bikers flowing through traffic I could never understand. If you're so jealous, grow a pair and go buy a bike yourself. If you're too scared to ride one, don't take it out on us.

It amazes me that people actually do this.

Damaging someone's car is perfectly ok in your books?

Awesome.

Yes this is a rant and I had to rewrite it a couple of time because nothing ever dies on the internet.
This morning I was once again reminded why most drivers hate bikers.
I know it's not all of you guys, but the majority are entitled little bitches.
So sorry to you guys that do not fall into this group, this it not for you guys.

This morning driving to JHB the traffic was stop and go at a couple of places. I'm in the second lane from the middel.
Close to Vodaworld we just start moving again and there is the bloody taxi on my left hand side driving on or over the line into my lane.
Along come this prick on his bike driving between the fast and my lane.
So now I'm trying not to be hit by the taxi by slowing down and keeping my car away from it.
Next thing the biker is at my window revving his bike like I'm doing something wrong.

So what do you want me to do?!?! Crash my car into the taxi so that you can get to work faster. Well **** you!
When he finally could dodge the cars in the fast lane (who could have moved out of the way much easier) and pass me, he took my drivers side mirror and twisted it all the way to the front.
Just checked at work and thanks for breaking my fold down mirror you *******!

So if you are reading this you entitled ****, I hope your bike gets stuck when the sun doesn't shine!!!!!!!

When I'm able to move out of the way and even drive in the yellow part in the fast lane I do it.
I get maybe 1 out 30 guys nodding his head in thank you when I do that. The rest just speed on.
So once again sorry for you bikers than can read the situation on the road and who would have waited for me to dodge the taxi.
The rest of you, well I can't say what I want to on a open forum...

Breaking a mirror off doesn't protect you and it won't teach anybody else a lesson, I guarantee it. You just make them angry and make them hate bikers more. You give other law abiding bikers a bad name.

You breaking mirrors has more to do with expressing your anger than it does preventing someone from driving badly again. If you really wanted to stop someone from driving badly, you'd knock on their window and tell them they nearly killed you.

I don't care if bikers want to split lanes and I'm not jealous. I don't care what they do. And its interesting that as soon as someone takes you to task for your illegal and aggressive actions, you think they are jealous. Protip - I'm not jealous of people who can't control their anger and who feel justified for assaulting someone to "teach them a lesson."

Grow a pair and act like an adult.

. And if that means I need to kick your mirror off to teach you how to use it then so be it.

That's a ****ing stupid argument.

"I'll teach this clown to use his mirror by kicking it off, thereby making it impossible to use, and putting other road users in danger."

Solid logic.

Ummmmm. Actually no.

All users of the road must be treated equally by all other users of the road. A bike is only as dangerous to the rider as the drivers around it. As a driver, it is YOUR responsibility to be aware of other road users around you. You actually do have to look out for bikers. And trucks, taxis, buses, other cars, etc.

Not a single biker I know (and I know many) asks to be treated like a special princess on the road. All they ask for is to be treated courteously by other road users.

Remember, your "evil, yucky car" can turn a biker into human paste. The biker? He dents your precious a little.

I'm not saying malicious damage to property is the correct response to drivers that cut you off, but neither is thinking that just because your mode of transportation has four wheels makes you more special that anyone else on the road

Yes. Not like they will get out of the car to have the shyte beaten out of them. They can go and spend a few hours at a repair shop and think about how they could have cost someone a loved one just because they didn't take a split second to look into their mirror.

Remember, your "evil, yucky car" can turn a biker into human paste. The biker? He dents your precious a little.

With enough speed involved a biker will kill the occupants of a car just as quickly as the car will kill them.

A several hundred kg bike + rider travelling at speed is going to do a lot of damage.

So Pitbulls driving lesson for the day is keep looking at your mirror and not at the road?

I'm 100% sure you're suppose to use your mirrors when changing lanes ;) Keep looking ahead of you when changing lanes and your mirror will be gone in no time soon too.
