Inconsistent Telkom speeds

hey guys - can anyone shed some light on my problem:

I recently switched from Mweb to Telkom ISP on my 10mbps line. I have capped accounts with both ISPs.

Since switching to Telkom, I have almost zero download speed on torrents. Also, speedtest.net results extremely inconsistent - sometimes the test doesn't even manage to finish.

As soon as I switch back to the Mweb capped account - no problems - rock solid connection, speedtest gives almost identical result everytime, and torrents d/l at 800k +

Any suggestions?

I've been using the current uncapped accounts for the past year or so. Torrent speeds are non-existent. I have just made peace with it. :erm:

Torrents are heavily shaped during the day.
Best time to schedule torrents for download would be between 00h00-06h00, any other time than that your torrents would run dead.

Thanks guys - I am just using torrents as an example and can accept that they are shaped. The bigger issue for me is that the bandwidth is just horribly erratic - and if I connect with a different ISP (I've tried both Afrihost and MWEB) I have no problems.

I've resolved the issue by moving to an all-in product with Afrihost
