Installing Sonoff Mini but no neutral in switch box.

The capacitor that they provide solves that problem if properly installed. The system works by letting a very small current though even when “off” to power the switch. This can cause LEDs to flicker, but not when the capacitor is in place - in my experience.
Same, haven't had an issue at all.

Unfortunately, in my experience, even with it in place some LEDs do but it is a rare occurrence.

I'm wanting to install some switches, was going to go with Sonoff but there's no neutral line so looking into the Eachen switches.

Question regarding the capacitor that needs to be installed, if installing 2 gang switches does the capacitor only need to be installed on one of the lights that runs to that particular switch?

Yes - there is a wiring diagram that explains it. Essentially, the switch uses one of the circuits to power itself. It is on that circuit that the capacitor needs to be installed. The other gang/circuit then works normally from the smart switch using the relays built in.

Another stupid question, if you have downlights installed, is the capacitor be installed on just one of them?

I have only used them on mains voltage GU10 downlights. I do not know if they will work with low-voltage lights but I would guess that the capacitor would need to be installed around the transformer on the 230V side in that case (rather than around the 12V side)…just need to make sure that the capacitor is installed on the circuit that the switch is using to power itself per the wiring diagram.

Sorry - yes, the capacitor is installed on just one light - one leg to neutral and one leg to live - so in parallel with the bulb, not in series.

before you do that , just turn one of them 180deg in the socket if its gu10 , preferably the one that flickers .
 
What is that intended to achieve?
your led bulbs have a designated live which goes through the ballast board it sometimes is the wrong way round in the socket and causes it to flicker , same as when you use gu 10s with the battery backup inside one will stay on untill you turn it also why some led`s stay on dimly even when turned off .

if it doesnt work get some of the Major Tech anti flicker units part #V509 they may work , or you can also try a 10uf ac capacitor across the last unit , they are cheap , any shop that sells lighting should have , if you have an old fluorescent unit take the white plastic cap out and try it .
