So i saw my dl/ul speeds were a bit below average (more inline 384 adsl and 1mb) , i thought of ideas how to improve signal without buying anything and to my surprise a simple bunny Arial actually helped a lot more than the cantenna or tinfoil "house".
heres what you do :
1.place bunny on flat surface, dont plug it in anything it will disturb signals
2.rest usb stick in the centre, touching one side of the ears.
3.point in general direction of tower closest to you.
3.profit
my db jumped down from 85-89 to 79, with download speed increased from 114kbps to 340kbps on bad conditions, i have seen higher but regarding the 8ta dashboard and its accuracy with showing speed im not to sure.
using e173 8ta modem on cellc 2gb lekke package..
Note: results may vary but either way you will profit.
I first thought it was my dongle going but quickly noticed issues on cellc, so even if you have 100% signal with -79 db etc , just keep it in mind...
i will post screenies once all the nonense has been sorted out.
