The worst part of this experience is that I now have to buy all my pants again in a smaller size.
Probably not the healthiest diet in the world
why not? any studies showing otherwise?
Imo it's probably healthier. Not at all... Just my opinion. But as I said, I have been doing it for at least 10 years and I am healthy.
Giving this intermittent fasting business a go.
So far it's going pretty well - skipping breakfast is a lot easier than I thought it would be.
I am also trying it, coffee helps. A lot.

Entering my third week of IF. Been a LCHFer for years but put a lot back on as a result of year long ankle injury and reduced urge to get moving.
I am fasting 2 to 3 times per week, for 24hrs at a time. Eat supper at 7pm and then fast 24hrs until the next days supper. On a fast day I have coffee with a splash of milk at 8am, 10am and lunchtime - fills me up and I have no hunger pains. Weight is coming off nicely and I am saving big bucks from buying way less food.

I'm not sure I could manage 24hours...
What is your weigh loss per week?
Would you suggest skipping breakfast or dinner for best weight loss?
1-2kg per week so far with a 4kg drop in the first.
Cool, I'm going to give this a go for a week or two and see if it works for me. I need to lose a few KGs that I just can't seem to lose by gyming.Probably doesn't make a difference.
