International Connection issues (ADSL through Mweb)

MWEB IPC outage affecting All Regions

MWEB members in all areas will experience slow or no international internet browsing and email due to a SEACOM link failure. Our engineers are investigating with Seacom. Traffic has already been rerouted and service disruptions should be minimal. Please note that we are not at full capacity and shaping on non priority traffic will be in effect.

Switched the Router Off for a minute and on again, seems more stable :)
 
Still blappingly slow.

Switched over to SAIX for a download. Was smooth. Did some Facebook when I was switched over. :D
 
As I mentioned on another thread MWEB cannot claim to have full redundancy. I have lost a full day of work due this internet. It was so slow, dial-up would have worked better. How MWEB decides what constitutes priority traffic is beyond me.
 
Since mid-day yesterday my ping to the US has been cycling through 250ms up to 600ms. No World of Tanks for me :-(
