International down?

Anyone else having international connectivity issues at the moment?
MWEB seems to be down for me on int, but fine on local.

Seacom are carrying out maintenance on Fibre cables in Egypt today, which may continue until 22:00 this evening.

We have secured capacity on an alternative route for the duration, this does mean that we are operating at reduced international capacity for the day.

I'm experiencing the "higher latency" as sites that simply do not load at all. Will MWEB be securing more alternatives throughout the day, or should I go see what the sunshine looks like outside for the rest of the day? ;-)

Morning RiaanBurger, we are routing using alternate capacity.

I cannot confirm that any more capacity will be added.

While international is slow for me, I cannot connect to any email websites hotmail (outlook) or yahoo. I can connect to gmail funnily enough. Is there a reason for this.
