Internet Access Dying

Just Imagine

Well, some complexes are having Neotel just run fibre into the complex and every home has a network point.

Imagine you could convince your complex to do the same and we will all live happily ever after.

Ps: I was down a moment ago :(

Every night at this time my line dies. No amount of redials can make it connect for more than a few seconds.
it usually comes back at about midnight...

I don't think I'm going to make midnight tonight tho, didn't I read something about someone making a little app that auto disconnects and redials? I could really use that right now.

Today is the worst it's ever been. Internet session is only active for +/-5 seconds then there's no throughput. Had to disconnect, reboot phone, connect 20 times in the last 5 minutes.

thankfully my internet access hasnt died, but my RSSI has dropped from 78 to 95. I'm wondering if its atmospheric conditions, im not to keen to spend R600 on a yagi just yet. Guess I could just hope for a tower to go up close to my house, i see the roads were dug up just down the road from me, hopefully its Neotel!

My Neotel Prime package was working fine for the last 2 weeks..had a few connection drops & so on but downloads averaging between 1.2mb/s to 2 mb/s. on the 20th my connection died again & when I reset the device it works for literally 10 sec's & then drops no matter how many times I reboot the phone (but shows connected). At midnight it suddenly worked again but then from yesterday when I got home at 7 it did the same, only keeping the connection for about 10 sec's. It is now 12:30 the following day & still not working. I live in Moreletapark PTA, RSSI 66 & connected to the PN-216 station. Have phoned customer support but no answers...

You must have all gone to bed coz my internet is working now. My connection is definitely a nocturnal animal... well past midnight nocturnal. Does that count.
