I look after a remote site that has a webcam that streams from a waterhole in a park to Copenhagen Zoo.
There is also a small shop and restaurant on site and we allow them to have have a VOX phone link thru our satlink.
Initially we only had a BiPAC 7300W Wireless-N ADSL2+ Firewall Router connected to the Satellite router and thru which everybody that needed to connect to a wireless printer and the shops servers could do that.
The signal was very weak in one area in that signal was needed so I installed a TL-WA5110G 54Mbps High Power Wireless Access Point in that area which is linked to the Bipac by cable via a switch. Initially I had a different SSID and password on the AP. But I changed that and they both have the same SSID and password. The Bipac is on channel 2 and the AP is on 11.
What happened then, is that persons connecting to the wireless network can get great Internet, but they can no longer connect to the printer or Remote access the servers. All of which they could do when there was only the 1 wireless 'network'.
I do do some Mac blocking on on the wireless side on both because we had some people logging in and doing downloads after they found out what the SSID and password was. But this happened before the AP was installed.
I have disconnected the AP and am hoping somebody might be able to suggest a solution.
