Internet Explorer 9 (IE9) arrives

Meh... not gonna bother with a Beta Version... especially of Internet Exploder.

I will try it, definitely. I am not biased at all. Using Chrome mostly now but I am willing to rehash a Microsoft IE version

Ahhh crap. Another browser from MS ... more validation to do to see what they've changed now and what parts of our apps don't work anymore.

"Microsoft says IE9 is built around the premise that the browser is critical to the way people interact with their computers."
No **** noddy. So why do you okes keep changing it FFS?!

Wahaha. I love the fact that the feature list is simply a rehash of what Firefox has had for the past 3 years and Chrome has had for a year. Groundbreaking! (Oh, and pinning is a Windows 7 feature, not an IE9 feature).

Industry Standards

One just have to chuckle at the following line:

IE9 has support for industry standards built in: extensive support for HTML5, SVG, CSS3, and COM

It is the ONLY browser that supports the "industry standard" COM

lol, funny how anti-Microsoft some people are, without even trying something. Why do you complain about MS changing their internet explorer, but when it's another browser, it's ok?

Yep, the anti arrived in force. Yet prolly all of them are running Windoze.

Doesn't work on Mac, what a shame  Guess I'll have stay with my Firefox and Chrome combo :D

Aaaah, I see they now have some functionality that Firefox has had for years. The only one feature they have now my Firefox browser does not have is Isolated Tabs.

Interesting I wonder what FF is going to do to stay ahead of the pack?

Just browsed some of our Sharepoint pages that utilize jquery and some heavy handed dom manipulation via the ie9 platform preview. All I can say is AWESOME!!!
With firefox and chrome it was as quick as ie9, but not nearly as smooth (flicker and response lags).

Last time I was as exited about any software was Starcraft II.
