Internet Explorer 9 (IE9) arrives

safe I am from this, as it won't run on my machine :D

Look like a great browser. Very fast, and I love the way you tear off tabs to make new windows! They've definitely nailed that, it's the best implementation thusfar.

Giving it a try now. Had issues logging into this site... couldnt see the fields where I put in username/password. Its way better than my experience with IE8. Its not as fast for me is chrome. There is nothing new for me with the tabs because Ive had that with chrome for a while now. A better browser but chrome for now is still snappier. I hope to see a better product when it leaves beta stage.

EDIT: On the same page scrolling up and down with the mouse wheel, this preview edition was prettty laggy when compared to chrome.

Wow, I am seriously impressed. It works flawlessly, and blisteringly fast with a [very] heavy JS/AJAX project we are doing at work.
+1 to finally being able to recommend IE :D

Mybb icon on the taskbar.

Not quite sure what you're getting at? Seeing as that IS the MyBB icon.

I'm sure stand alone installations will be available with the full release.

I used the 64-bit version last night for a while, biggest + for me was the looks.

Good morning.
I have downloaded and installed IE 9 beta on my Windows 7 32bit machine. After installation and rebooting, IE gives errors: IE has stopped working. There is nothing that I can do to make this message go away. I click on "Close Program" and then it pops up again.
Is can also not find a link where I can uninstall it.

Did anyone of you had the same problem?

Nightmare indeed, 2 reboots, bunch of updates installed...way to go MS

Takes some getting used to, but very impressed so far, faster than the other browsers for me, lightning fast actually especially with a dodgy connection. Does anyone know if bookmarks and passwords etc can be imported from other browsers?

How do I uninstall it to try installing again?

Tested 64bit version and installed 64bit Flash called "Square", all works well with exception of Vodacoms new site www.vodacom.co.za needs to run in "Compatibility Mode" to display properly. Where the problem is unclear, New website based on old design or IE9 Beta. You be the judge.

I am pretty impressed so far... there are a few rendering issues (like the mybb login box pointed out earlier), and it's a little strange for me using the one box for addresses and search (I come from opera and the fox with the dedicated search box on the right)... but i kinda like it.

Finally looks like they are bringing their A game to the browser market.

EDIT:
Three gripes:
1. I haven't figured out how to add a favorite without going to the page first.
2. When I open a new tab, i'd like to customise that list to be like opera's speed dial... meaning edit that list myself, not just see the most popular sites.
3. Once I pin the favorites bar, I want it to be pinned every time I open it...
